Tucked away on a back alley off of Wenceslas Square, V Cípu may be a bit overwhelming at first in all of its billiard hall glory. This seemingly former turn-of-the-century dance hall greets you with high, beautiful ceilings and 18 standard billiard tables. If you’d like to experience some antiquated bowling, there are two lanes with pins that set them back up by strings. Upstairs is another large space with seven ping pong tables; it is slightly rundown though and not heated well in the winter. If neither billiards or ping pong is your thing, they also have darts, air hockey, mini foosball tables, and an electronic punching bag. Make sure to grab an entrance ticket at the door. The staff will mark all of your drinks on it and also the time you started each game. Everything is paid for when you leave and a word to the wise: don’t lose your ticket. You will pay a 1500 kč fine if you do!
