Cross Club

If you wander into the up and coming artistic neighborhood of Holešovice, you’re sure to be lured into the futuristic Cross Club. The interior alone makes it worth a visit since there are many glowing metal, mechanical contraptions and other oddities that make it a very trippy place hang out. There are actually three parts to Cross Club. The main space/club functions as a multicultural, genre-crossing center with diverse musical acts (Cross Club is known for the electronic djs it brings in), film showings and discussions, and theatrical performances by young theater companies. The second part of Cross Club, added in 2009, is the upstairs cafe made solely of natural materials. It’s a good place to chill out with a cup of coffee and a pizza or panini. The third part of Cross Club is the outdoor beer garden and is highly recommend in the summer months. All in all, Cross Club is a hub of alternative culture.
