Prague Off the Map

La Casa Blů

Founded in 1996 by a Chilean-Praguer, La Casa Blů is a Prague institution serving up tex-mex and South American dishes. Located in the Jewish quarter, you will be hard pressed to find another restaurant/bar in the area with such lively ambiente. Much more than a restaurant, it’s a meeting place of cultures: the staff is as diverse as the bar flies. It’s non-smoking too, so you can eat your nachos and burritos without a smokey haze lingering over them. Don’t forget that happy hour is everyday until 18:00. For film history buffs, the Czech classic, Samotáři (Loners) was filmed here.
