Just when you thought you’ve seen all of David Černý’s art scattered throughout the city, you stumble upon this unique cafe and realize there’s still more. Not only should you check out the colorful, crazy bar handcrafted by him, but if you hang around long enough, you may get a glimpse of Černý himself who is a regular here (you’ll recognize him because he sometimes likes to hang his bike up on the coat rack!). Even if you don’t get to observe Černý in his natural habitat, Mlýnská Kavárna is well worth the stop. Located on Kampa Island, the walk there is half of the romance. You can sit outside along the canal in the summer or be inside and take in the art work on the walls, which changes often.
