So you’ve made it up to Vyšehrad. It seems like a village and something of an undiscovered paradise compared to the masses of tourists that you‘ll find in the city below. But where to go for a beer and one that will not cost you 60 Kč at one of tourist-oriented restaurants around? There’s a simple answer: Hospůdka Na Hradbách. Once you see the rotunda, keep walking up and you will find this tourist-free haven. During the summer months, it serves as a beer garden and surprisingly, a Bosnian outdoor grill. There’s even a small basketball court and playground. During the darker days, the indoor pub is still open and warm. You’ll find a lot of hippy alternative types here. Free wifi.
