Art House Cinemas

Kino AtlasNever heard the term “art house cinema” before? No worries, it does sound a bit pretentious anyways! Pretentiousness aside, these are the cinemas where you can see not only local and international independent films, but also quite often even quality Hollywood films (yes, there are some). Most films are shown with English subtitles, too! Don’t forget, you can take your beer from the hip cinema cafe into the movie with you. Now that’s better than popcorn.

Galleries and Exhibits

FuturaPrague is definitely not lacking in the art department. Check out our extensive lists of galleries that most likely are not on the map. We’ll also keep you updated on exhibition openings, which is especially useful when you’d like to rub shoulders with weird local artists and their adorers (not to mention drink free wine).

Theater in PragueHankering for a play in English? No problem. Or maybe you’d like to go to an experimental Czech theater performance? No problem! Some theaters even provide English subtitles.
